Placing an order - making a contract with us

When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order.

Once we have checked the price and availability of the goods, we will e-mail you again to confirm that we accept your order, and that a contract has been made between us. We will not take payment from you until we have accepted your order.

In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or that we have made a pricing mistake, we will advise you of this. You will not receive an e-mail confirming acceptance of your order, and there will be no contract between us.

Please note that www.skateandthecity.com reserves the right to cancel any orders placed as it sees fit. www.skateandthecity.com will notify by email immediately of any such cancellation.

The prices currenncy is euro ; prices are as stated on the website and are subject to change at any time without notice.

Prices are notified without shipping and handling, which will be added when the order will be validated.

Payment and security

Payment can be done folfowing these processes :

- by check to SKATE & the CITY – the complete skateshop, sent by mail with the order references at :

- by the secured Paypal system.

Order will be validated as soon as the payment is complete.

SKATE & the CITY – the complete skateshop will send an email order confirmation ; otherwise the customer will be informed by email that his order is not vaild.

Shipping

If after www.skateandthecity.com has accepted an order from you ( acceptance will be sent to you via email on receipt of your order) and you decide that you wish to withdraw from the contract, you may do so by communicating to us by email to joe [a] skateandthecity.com that you wish to do so within 7 days of our acceptance of your order.

We will then email you a returns form that you will need to complete and send back with your goods.

If after you have received your goods you decide that they are unwanted you may return them to us at your own cost and risk provided that you notify us by email to joe [a] skateandthecity.com of your wish to do so within 7 days of receipt of your goods.

Upon us receiving your returned goods we shall refund you for those goods provided that they are in their original, brand new, unused, re-sellable condition. Please note that for unwanted/unsuitable items any shipping charges for your original order are not refundable.

PLEASE NOTE: All discounted sales are final. Items that are reduced are reduced to clear and are therefore not returnable.

Faulty or damaged products

If your goods do not reach you in good condition you must notify us within 2 days of the receipt of your goods by email to joe [a] skateandthecity.com. We will then arrange with you either a refund or exchange for the affected goods provided that they have not been opened or tampered with in any way.

If you believe your goods may be faulty you must notify us within 28 days of the receipt of your goods by email to joe [a] skateandthecity.com.We will then arrange with you either a refund or exchange for the affected goods. Refunds or exchanges will only be given after the goods have been returned to us and we can confirm upon inspection that the goods are damaged or faulty.

Product Availability

www.skateandthecity.com will endeaver to ensure that the web site does not have any problems and that goods displayed are available. However it cannot guarantee the availability of the website or that any goods on the site are in stock or available. In the event that your ordered items are out of stock we will notify you as soon as we can.

Please note that colours on our website will vary slightly depending how your monitor is callibrated. We do our very best to make sure all our images are true to the actual product you are purchasing but we cant guarantee a perfect match every time due to almost limitless variations in home monitor set ups.
